Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Publisher Sprint (publishersprint.com), an imprint of Paper Ink Books (paperinkbooks.com). This policy outlines the terms for cancelling orders and requesting refunds for services and products.


1. Order Cancellation

  • Within 24 Hours:
    Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement by emailing refunds@publishersprint.com. A full refund will be processed, subject to a nominal administrative fee (typically 5–10% of the order value) to cover payment gateway and processing costs.

  • After 24 Hours:
    Cancellations are not guaranteed. Requests will be reviewed case by case. If approved, a partial refund will be determined proportionate to the amount of work completed, including editorial review, design setup, and administrative time.

  • Chargebacks:
    Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue is a violation of this policy and may result in suspension of services.


2. Digital Products and Services

Due to the nature of digital publishing, editorial services, and SprintWrite Challenge participation:

  • No refunds are permitted once work has commenced or materials have been accessed or delivered.

  • This includes but is not limited to manuscript reviews, design drafts, author coaching, and publishing setup.


3. Physical Products

Refunds or replacements are issued only if:

  • The item is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrectly fulfilled.

  • Minor variations in printing or binding are not considered defects.

  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.


4. Refund Requests and Process

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery (for physical products) to refunds@publishersprint.com.

  • Include order details and clear photographic evidence, if applicable.

  • Once approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 business days.

  • Please note it may take additional time for your bank or card provider to reflect the refund.

  • You may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or the error is ours.


5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not provided in the following cases:

  • Delay due to third-party distributors, postal services, or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, war, government action).

  • Change of mind after the initial 24-hour cancellation window or after dispatch.

  • Dissatisfaction with design or content if services were delivered as agreed and meet professional standards.

  • Participation fees in the SprintWrite Challenge after enrollment or commencement.

  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper handling.

  • Returns without original packaging or missing parts not due to our error.


6. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or non-performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, labor disputes, or government regulations.


7. Limitation of Liability

Publisher Sprint’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable service or product.


8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of India, specifically the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Any disputes shall be subject exclusively to the courts of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
